Westie grooming: my point of view

In recent years, I notice many overly elaborate toilets in the westies; hair that is too conditioned or even bleached to look much whiter than it actually is.

The westie, we know, is a rustic dog, a hunter, and dressing him in a suit that does not belong to him does not support the breed.

It would be desirable to return to admire him in the rings with his well stripped coat, well cared for but never brought to the paradox, in respect of himself and the race.
